The Spa at Kourawhero is located close to the main lodge and a short stroll through the grounds from your luxury suite.
The Spa has an outdoor pool with stunning views across the Matakana Coast and Hauraki Gulf islands of Kawau, Little Barrier and Great Barrier to the distance.

Amanda Van Hoppe
Amanda's experience in the wellness industry spans more than 17 years & during that time, she has managed some of New Zealand's top 5-star luxury hotel spas.
Amanda understands first hand the importance of holistic self care & how fostering a deeper connection with self can greatly enhance & enrich every aspect of your life. She is an experienced spa therapist, vibrational medicine practitioner, sound healer & owner of Divinely Feminine, her holistic wellness practice located in Matakana, just north of Auckland.
Wendy Douglas
Wendy was first introduced to Ashtanga Yoga over 20 years ago & has been teaching this, alongside the restorative practice of Yin Yoga at the Tea & Tonic studio in Matakana for the past 3 years.
Wendy encourages and uplifts people in their day to day lives and brings fun and lightness to the practice of yoga. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience to help people to fully connect with their whole selves. Wendy has also taught at retreats as well as working with clients one on one.
